The Ford GT GTE pays homage to the orignally designed Ford GT40, by Carrol Shelby, pulling off the famous 1-2-3 win of 1966 Le Mans that will go down as one of the most memorable moments in racing history. Ford made their debut in 2016, 50 years after the legendary win to come back and win it again in their beautifully designed Ford GT GTE. Ford Returned to Le Mans in 2016 on the 50th anniversary of their famous 1-2-3 victory in the Ford GT40, now in the third generation, the supercar Ford GT LMGTE. This model is an homage to the first generation Ford GT40 in their Le Mans victory in 1966 in the Gulf livery showing how far Ford has come in technology, design and power and showing no plans of slowing down.
